Prayer Ministry Skills

Foundational and Advanced Training

Living Bridge offers two modular courses designed to equip individuals in prayer ministry:

  1. Prayer Ministry Skills (PMS)
  2. Advanced Prayer Ministry Skills (APMS).

These courses combine structured teaching, practical exercises, group ministry, and workshops over multiple sessions, giving participants confidence and skill in ministering safely and effectively.

Modules are typically delivered on Saturdays over several months, allowing participants to integrate learning and practice ministry gradually.

Prayer Ministry Skills (PMS)

The PMS course is open to all and generally consists of five teaching modules plus a workshop. Each module focuses on a range of teaching topics, followed by demonstrations and small group exercises.

Course Structure

  • Modules 1–4: Each module contains 4 teaching sessions (50–60 minutes each), plus ministry demonstrations and small group practice.
  • Module 5: Longer group ministry sessions, allowing participants to practice applying all they have learned.
  • Workshop: Consolidates learning from the modules, mainly using practical group exercises and real-life ministry scenarios. Participants attend the workshop after completing all or most of the preceding modules.

Flexible Attendance

Participants may book individual modules as standalone courses if they are unable to attend the full sequence. This ensures flexibility while still providing valuable teaching and ministry experience.
