Prayer Ministry Skills 4

Prayer Ministry Skills 4

Saturday 12th December, 9:30am til 5:00pm

Farnham Vineyard, The Vineyard Centre, Church House, Union Road, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 7PT

This one-day course is open to those who have attended Living Bridge Prayer Ministry Skills 1, the Ellel equivalent, or Explore A.

PMS4 focuses on several significant and common areas of wounding that affect many believers. While rejection is taught separately as a full one-day course, this module provides a foundational understanding of how rejection develops, how it influences behaviour, and how to minister effectively into its effects. Participants will explore defence mechanisms and behaviour cycles—patterns that may arise in response to hurt but can also lead to unhealthy or sinful reactions. Learning how to gently “speak the truth in love” is an important part of developing as a prayer minister, and this module helps build confidence in that area.

You will also look at the ways a person’s human spirit can be damaged—not only through rejection but through various experiences—and how prayer can bring restoration. Finally, PMS4 introduces practical teaching on praying for physical healing, grounded in biblical principles rather than reliance on miraculous gifting.

The day includes teaching on:

  • Rejection
  • Defence mechanisms and behaviour cycles
  • Ministry to the human spirit
  • Praying for physical healing

As in the previous Prayer Ministry Skills modules, you will observe demonstration ministry to see how these principles are applied in real situations. You will also take part in small group ministry, offering opportunities both to receive confidential prayer and to practise ministering under the guidance of an experienced Living Bridge Ministry Team member.

Your course fee includes printed notes for study and annotation. Please bring a pen or pencil.
